Overview

The sounds of these worlds will alter as the player travels through the game's levels thanks to the attenuation implemented by Wwize. As the player moves away from the sound source, they will hear the sound fade. The sounds of the enemy will let the player know that danger is present as they move around the area. Doors that are open will sound different from those that are locked, providing the player a audio cue that something needs to be addressed in order to move on to the next level. When picking up objects, the player will hear audio cues to let them know that they have acquired health, ammo, or other pickups, keeping their attention on the game rather than the HUD.
