Map Generation
Some map components will be generated when a new campaign is launched:
- Enemy spawns
- Objective positions
- Interactable doors: characteristics and uses (locked, blocked)
Considerations For Level Design
Here is a list of gameplay factors to take into account when creating levels:
- To rely on running and shooting, the player's movement should be quick and fluid.
- Enemies plan to surprise the player by manipulating the surroundings
- Several of the player's pickups will help them navigate.
- Map exploration should be promoted to players.
